A Bit About Little Bear

Popping in for a few minutes. Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers. I am feeling more at peace today. It may seem silly that I am so concerned about a little dog but she is very precious to me.

This picture was taken over Thanksgiving. Little Bear is resting her head on my son's leg.  I'm sitting on the other side of her.  She doesn't see my son very often and she was so happy that he visited.

Little Bear came into our lives in the summer of 2008. She was 8 weeks old and little ball of fur. She is a miniature poodle with a very big heart. She has been my constant companion from day one. Whenever I have gone away, either a dear friend or a family member has watched her. I miss her when I am away and I know she misses me. She doesn't eat well when we are apart ~ sadly, I don't have that problem!

In the mornings, she naps on my lap as I have my coffee. In the afternoons, she sleeps under my chair or on my lap. At night, she sleeps on our bed. Wherever I am at home, she is with me. When I go out on errands, she waits at the window until I come home.

I love my Little Bear. Thank you again for praying.

  5. I don't think it is silly to be concerned. She is your special pet, and I know how I felt when y cat had to have a big operation.

  6. Hi Gina~

She is a precious little sweetheart... :0) Isn't it wonderful that God gave us these sweet little furry friends to love us, and for us to love back? I don't understand, trust, or like anyone who does not like a dog. I am also very attached to my big, beautiful Black Lab, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Keep us posted on.

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb

    1. Barb, I'm with you. If someone doesn't love animals, I'd be suspicious too.

  7. I do not think you are being silly at all. I lost my little Peanut after 16 years with her this past November and like you say your world revolves around them, they depend on you for everything and they are always there with you, it has been hard to adjust to her not being around anymore, enjoy every minute you have with your furbaby!
