A Blanket for Isaac

Today I am joining Ginny for her weekly Yarn Along knitting/crocheting sharing party.

This week, I started crocheting a blanket for my grandson, Isaac. I am using the same pattern that I used for Hannah's blanket.  I chose a simple design as he is only 4 (almost 5) years old. ♥

I'm pleased with the progress I've made. I am hoping to be done with it by the end of January.

Are you feeling crafty this new year?

  1. I AM! And I want to crochet some soon. Maybe I'll go get my yarn out tonight to do some little projects tomorrow. I still want to make a flat angel...or try to! Hugs, Diane

  3. Hi!

I love the blanket, and its the perfect weather to sit by the fire and crochet. I think I should be crafty...but it hasn't happened yet. I have several projects that need some serious attention!

I hope you forget too much cold, snowy weather...take care.

    Hugs and love,
    Barb

    1. Hi Barb! Thank you. I hope to sit by the fire this weekend. Usually I would be rooting for snow but this time, I'm hoping for just a dusting. I'm hoping to fly out Monday to visit my grands. We shall see!

  5. That looks terrific, love the colors. I just finished making a table runner just before Christmas for my girlfriend.

  6. I might knit another beanie just for something crafty to do. Then again I found a little counted cross stitch one of my grand daughters started when she was a little girl. I think I'd like to finish it for her as a surprise. We lost it.
That's a lovely blanket you're making, I like the colours for a boy.

    1. Me too, Diana. I hope you post pictures of your beanie and cross stitch! I ordered a little embroidery kit to work on after the blanket.

  7. I'm actually having difficulty getting my craftiness flowing right now. I think it's resting after the Christmas busy season. Hopefully, I'll be back in the swing soon! My grandson is also 4 - and will be 5 later this month! :)

    1. Hi Beckey. Thank you for visiting and commenting. I was working on small projects before the holidays and it feels good to work on the blanket. Much easier!
