Home Again

I am home again after being away for almost a week.  I was visiting my daughter, son-in-law,. and grandchildren.  I am exhausted but I miss them already!

Isaac is almost 5 now and he taught me everything there is to know about planets (nebulas, stars, etc) and I learned the 50 states song!  I can recite the 50 states almost perfectly though I tend to forget Rhode Island and Vermont.  He is very proud of his nana!

Hannah is almost 1 1/2 and a real doll baby.  She is tiny but chalk full of energy.  She has a very subtle sense of humor and loves to dance.

The weather was quite cold in New Jersey and I am soaking in the sunshine now that I am home.  The temperatures are in the low 50's and it feels wonderful!  The bulbs are starting to wake up from their earthy beds and I fear they will catch a chill later this week when the temperatures drop.

I did not have my computer with me while I was away.  I wrote posts ahead of time and then scheduled their daily publishing.  I am trying to blog/post something every day in 2017.  We'll see how far I actually get!  Other than moderate comments, I had very little time for writing while I was away.  I will now respond to the comments and visit everyone.

Much love!

  2. Hi Gina!

Welcome home! Grand children and definitely the reward . . . :0) Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and I'm sure you are missing all those sweet hugs.

Blogging is on the top of my list, I just don't get around to posting as often as I would like. I'm hoping to get some ambition and energy back soon!

It is snowing . . . again! I would love to have some of your sunshine sweet friend!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb

    1. Arlene, when you write your post, on the right side, it says "schedule" - then set the date and time and push publish. You should be able to see it ready to go in your posts list. Hope that helps.

  6. Good to hear you had a good trip and have the chance to be with your kids and grandbabies.
Bet it feels good to come home to warmer temps. I am worried about all these warmer temps also, poor plants don't know what to do.

    1. Connie, my bulbs are coming up. It looks like the weather will stay warm at least until the end of the week. Who knows after that?
