Living Several Lives

A good book should leave you slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading it.
~William Styron

Do you find yourself reading a favorite book over and over?

I do.

I just can't seem to find a newer book or author that even remotely compares to Lucy Maude Montgomery, Laura Ingalls Wilder, CS Lewis, or JRR Tolkein.  Those are my go to favorite authors.

Can you suggest a book or a favorite author of yours?  My goal is to read at least one book a month.

    1. Connie, that name sounds familiar. I must have read one of her books before but I can't place the title with the name. More googling! Thank you for your recommendation.

  4. Those are some fantastic authors and honestly very few can compare but to shake things up a little I read Colleen Cobble. Totally no where close to the mentioned above. But her books are good. I love the quote and I agree so very much.
