Your House Becomes Your Story

Collect things you love, that are authentic to you, and your house becomes your story.  ~Erin Flett

I have long admired all things Emma Bridgewater.  There's just something so endearing to her patterns.  They resonate "cottage" to me.

They do tend to be a bit pricey and the shipping fee can be outrageous ~ everything is shipped from England.  But if you wait for a sale....... AND a free shipping offer (even to the USA) then you can reasonably justify purchasing a few items here and there.

My first Emma Bridgewater purchase was a few months ago.

I love the Pink Hearts pattern. I chose two 1/2 pint mugs. And anything chickens is so hard to pass up. This particular pattern is called Hen & Toast. I chose a baby mug. (I would have rather had a 1/2 pint but this size was on sale.)

And speaking of chickens... I could not pass up this set of Hen & Toast tins or caddies as they say in England.  I'm a tin kind of girl.  I love biscuit tins, cookie tins, all sorts of tins.

Yesterday, I placed my second order ~ treasures on sale and free shipping!  I can hardly wait for them to arrive!

Do you like Emma Bridgewater too?

    1. Diane, I don't know if her items are available here in the states. I always keep my eyes open at second hand shops though.

    1. Marilyn, I can't remember where or when I first heard of them. I don't think I'd order if the shipping wasn't free. Too expensive!
