Yesterday, I needed a reminder that I need to take things one day at a time. Wednesday was my first day of physical therapy for my arm. It wasn't too rough but boy my arm was sore for days!
After my physical therapy, my sweet husband and I went to dinner. Then off to the market to pick up some groceries. I haven't been able to drive for a week since I hurt my arm. So when in town ~ time to get things done!
I haven't charted my day for today yet. My husband and I were gone most of the day. I had my yearly physical in the big city and then we popped into Costco.
I am going to choose a big YOO HOO sticker for today. I've lost 2 lbs since my last visit. I know 2 lbs doesn't sound like a lot but at my age, any weight loss is a victory! Experts say that decreases in metabolism mean that women gain an average of 10 pounds around menopause. Oh bother!
Little by little the pounds are coming off. Still a big YOO HOO... and other than my arm, I am as healthy as can be.
