Crocheting A Baby Surprise

I can't share a picture today because I am crocheting a...surprise!

A surprise for my daughter's baby shower! Aside from the surprise, I bought her some pretty things to wrap the baby in (I can't go into much detail in case she peeks at my blog.)  The baby shower is a week from Saturday.

The baby is due in early May.  This is her first baby and it is a boy! They are not telling us his name until after he is born.  I am guessing his name will be Samuel (Sam).  My second daughter is guessing Luke.  My third daughter isn't wagering a guess.  We shall see...

Sadly, my Isaac and Hannah live far away (10 hour drive) and I do miss them. I am very thankful for our visits, mail, and FaceTime!  This new little one is only 30 minutes away.  My arms are just itching to hold him.

PS The surprise is not a blanket.

What could it be?
Guesses are welcome

I can't confirm or deny
your answer just yet!

  5. Can't wait to see it, I will guess you made some little booties to go along with it :) Oh that is great that you will have a little grandbaby a bit closer to you, the technology that keeps us in touch easier is such a blessing that's for sure :)
