Early Morning Easel Drawings

No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist. ~Oscar Wilde

I always enjoy seeing my grandson's art projects!

Isaac describes this recent picture as:

Daddy is jumping off a diving board. There are no bombs allowed on the diving board. Mommy is resting. Isaac is watching the fireplace. And Hannah is playing with a pig.

I love that Mommy is resting! ♥

  1. Dear Gina,

Thank you for putting a picture up of yourself! I immediately recognized you and we were followers of one another's blogs a couple of years ago. I "met" you when you were staying at your home and your husband had gone on to the new area where you would be living. It seems you may have been packing up some of the things then. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of that blog, but my blog at that time was Joyful in His Presence. I just returned to blogging at the beginning of this year after taking a year away to help care for my father-in-law who has since passed away. It is SO good to see your smiling face again!

I love sweet Issac's picture...and his explanation is even more precious! Thank you for sharing it with us.

    xx

  6. Hi Gina, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, that is how I found yours!
Children's art always amazes me. It is so interesting and it reveals so much about what is important to them and how they see the world.
    Warm regards,
    Christina

We all have our “good old days” tucked away inside our hearts, and we return to them in dreams like cats to favorite armchairs. ~ B. Carter
