A Daughter's Fashion Stamp of Approval

Be careless in your dress if you must, but keep a tidy soul. ~Mark Twain

My third daughter is my fashion go to person.  If I don't know if something looks "special occasion" good, she does. ♥. The outfit that I've chosen to wear to my eldest daughter's baby shower has my daughter's fashion stamp of approval!

I've rewritten part of my post as my plans have changed. I wasn't expecting the weather to change as much as it has. It is cold! So the capris are off the table, so to speak. I've some nice gray slacks that I will wear instead with the vintage blush tunic. It will be boots instead of sandals. I don't want my toes to turn blue! Brr!

  1. Hi Gina, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, that is how I found yours!
I think the blush tunic is very pretty together with the pants with the lace on the bottom. I love wearing these blush colors myself, but feel I do need a bit of make up otherwise I am looking too pale.
How nice that your daughter is your personal fashion adviser. I have a few friends with the "fashion eye" that I sometimes ask for advice, but most of the time I simply wear what I like and what I feel good in. I have done two color consultations many years ago with a professional and that was tremendously helpful.
    Warm regards,
    Christina

    1. Hi Christina. Thank you for visiting and commenting too! I remember years ago when color consultations were popular. You were either a winter, spring, summer, or fall. I was never technically assessed but from what I could tell, I was a winter. Blush is a definite for tomorrow.

  2. I ask my daughter, Amelia, for advice. She always looks fashionable and where she got those genes from I am not sure. I love that pink top...so pretty. I always have to put on blush and lipstick to avoid looking like a ghost in photos.lol

  3. sounds like a pretty outfit for the day, sorry it has turned cold. We are suppose to be in the 70's tomorrow and 80's on Sunday, goes from winter to summer so quickly :( Either way I hope you all enjoy a fabulous day!

    1. Connie, oh my 80's! That is too warm for me in April. I did have a great time and will blog about it later in the week. xo
