Baby Crochet Surprise Reveal

Mike Wazowski!

A few weeks ago, I wrote about hoping to finish a crochet project before my daughter's baby shower.  I wasn't able to finish it in time but now I have.

My daughter loves Disney's movie, Monsters Inc.  Mike Wazowski is her very favorite.  I decided to make baby booties in a sage green with a single eyeball. (just like Mike!)

I had a terrible time crocheting the soles for the slippers.  I lost track of how many times that I had to take them completely apart.  Finally, I got the soles right.  I was so happy! (And yes, I made two booties but posted just one.)

I found the pattern for the above slippers in this really cute crochet book.  This particular pattern was for an alien with antenna but I tweeked it to look like Mike W.

I plan on giving the booties to my daughter tomorrow.  I think she will love them.  I know I do! ♥

    1. She did, Anne. I was so glad. Now if that little baby boy would arrive....

You are very welcome. I had hoped to make homemade cards but Little Bear's injury/care took up more time than I imagined. xx

    1. Connie, I think my eyes were playing tricks on me because I was reading the directions wrong for the longest time. Oh bother! But at least I finally got it right. xo
