The Good Shepherd

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.  And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
John 10:11-16

Sadly, this is not my little lamb.  The photograph is from Pixabay. Who could say no to a little face like his!

Knowing that Jesus is my good shepherd is such a comforting truth. He is ever there caring, guiding, and loving me.

  3. That is a sweet lamb...they are so precious when they are little. Gina, look up 1818 Farms. They have a website and a Facebook page. This farm is located in Mooresville AL near me, and I think you would enjoy following them.

  4. Lovely, Gina. 'The Lord is my shepherd' is so comforting. Aren't the baby lambs and goats so precious this time of year? I just saw the tiniest little goats in a field with their mama - they were all snuggled up together. Wishing you a Happy May Day and a lovely new week of blessings xo Karen
