Update on Little Bear

Little Bear and I visited the veterinarian on Tuesday. The doctor at the animal hospital suggested that we follow up with our vet this week. And so we did.

Our vet agreed with the one at the animal hospital that most likely Little Bear injured her neck/back and has an injured slipped disc (or worse). He advised us that she continue with her medications: anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxant, and pain medication as needed. We are to do our best to keep her "calm" for at least 30 days. Within 30 days, if she were to injure it again, she may end up paralyzed. Scary, I know. I am doing what I can and leaving the rest up to God.

Little Bear turns 10 years old this month. In spite of her injury etc, she is a happy little soul. My prayer is that she will be comfortable and heal well.

**I never did finish making my Easter cards. I've put that idea on a shelf and hope to mail out some sweet Easter cards (not homemade) this weekend. Clearly, they will be late and I do apologize but I know that you all will understand. I received 2 sweet Easter cards in the mail today and they are a smile upon my hearth. ♥

  3. It is good to hear that you are doing all the right things as far as your vet is concerned, the best news is that she is feeling good, that is all we want for our furbabies!! I only managed to make 3 this year and have sent them out, hoping they get to family members in time :)
