Chores, Cookies, and Frittata ~ Oh My!

After being gone most of yesterday, it felt good to stay at home and  catch up on chores.  I woke up early, had breakfast, and got to work!

I did pop out to go to lunch with my friend, Bonnie.  We went to a sweet little restaurant run by little old ladies.  It took a little while to get there (next county) but it was well worth it.

Home again and a quick nap.  Time in the garden and then time for a cup of coffee.  Making cookie dough was next.  We've a BBQ to attend tomorrow night and I am bringing cookies.  The dough has to be refrigerated at least an hour before baking and I decided it would be easier to make the dough today and bake them tomorrow.

Frittata for dinner!

Tonight  I made a frittata with mushrooms, onions, peppers, and bacon (& eggs, salt, pepper, and a bit of butter!).  An easy dinner to make, healthy, and delicious!  Win Win Win!!!

  4. Sounds like you have been quite busy, great idea to make the dough ahead and all you have to do is bake them before going :)

    1. Connie, sometimes most of the work is preparing the dough. Making it ahead of time makes the whole process more enjoyable and less tiring!
