Saturday's Sam and Sales

It has been a lovely summer Saturday.  My husband and I enjoyed a nice quiet breakfast before we headed out to an estate sale.  I've really enjoyed driving through different areas of North Carolina and seeing the various neighborhoods and scenery.

Today's estate sale was in a condo in the big city.  The condo didn't look very old but it felt a little claustrophobic to me.  I am pretty sure it had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, small kitchen, dining room, living room, and large finished basement.  This sale had so many of those Christmas village (Department 56) pieces.  They are lovely but I can't imagine where I'd put it all so I passed on them.  I did find a sweet little wood bench (I'll post a picture next week), some Christmas linens, and a couple of cute ornaments.

After the estate sale, we went to Starbucks and had an early lunch.  I needed a bit more caffeine before it was time to watch little Sam!

Sam has grown!  He is 7 weeks old and now weighs over 8 lbs.  I'm happy that he is still wants to snuggle!  We played peekaboo with him and he rewarded us with smiles! ♥

  1. Oh Babies, I just love them. How lovely you had Sam for a while. I have to wait for my grandchildren to start their families now and as none of them are married I don't see it happening in the near future. Never mind, good things are worth waiting for :)

    1. Connie, I hadn't either. We've enjoyed popping over to estate sales if they aren't too far away. We just google estate sales and our zip code and up pop the sales. :-)
