A Quiet Sunday Afternoon

It's a quiet Sunday afternoon.  It's a quiet sultry Sunday afternoon.  It's a quiet sultry Sunday
afternoon and it is time for a cup of coffee.  All of the above.

Little Bear is woofing more than usual today.  My husband is gone for the day and I think she is impatient for him to return home. When I am gone for the day, she lays about looking sorrowful.

There is no need to cook today.  We are still eating leftovers from our Thursday gathering.  Not complaining, mind you.  I do my best not to work on Sundays as much as I can.  A day of rest is much needed after a busy week.

Love to everyone and hopes that no one is melting in this heat. xo

  1. Very hot in Texas as well. At age, cannot afford to stay out too long. I welcome all leftovers from my family and fiends.

    1. LV, if I am outside with Little Bear in the shade, it is a bit more tolerable. Thankfully, it rained a little tonight.

  3. It's nice to have a restful day. We stayed inside where it was cool and I read a lot. Today it's 'back to getting things done'! Enjoy your day! Hugs!

    1. Diane, I have a stack of magazines & books that I'd like to read. Somehow I get busy and don't seem to get to them. I need to change my priorities! xo

  4. Hi Gina!

I know what you mean! It's been hot here in Idaho...temps in the upper 90's, but at least we don't have humidity to go with it. I hope you enjoyed your beautiful Sunday afternoon, now on to a busy week!! Don't work to hard!

    Hugs and Love,

    1. Barb, I'm afraid I'm still cleaning up from last week. In my busyness Thursday, I randomly stuck stuff in closets etc before the ladies arrived. Time to straighten things out! xo
