CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP

Who doesn't love Pac Man? There really weren't too many video games back then.  The only one I can think of besides Pac Man is Pong or perhaps Tetris. Oh my goodness, times have changed, haven't they!

My Pac Man should be more of a brighter yellow but I didn't have that ink pad handy. The little spook guys are actually an upside down tulip stamp.  I used this very same stamp on yesterday's card for the flower petals.  The stem and leaves I just drew freehand.

CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP

Today I made this card for my SIL David's birthday.  I decided to not go with the dinosaurs and "speak to his heart" instead with this card.  I'm not too crazy with the color of the Washi tape but I was trying to use what was in the July Paper Pumpkin kit.

OH BOTHER!

I was hoping that the eye strain discomfort that I've been experiencing would just go away but I don't think it will.  I've been using my computer more than I probably should be.  I've made an eye appointment for next week.

I don't know why I tend to do things the hard way when the easier way is just easier.  It turns out that SU has their own blog format that you can use that is much simpler than what I was doing.  So I've put the other one on hold and after I've seen the eye doctor will work on the SU one.  I guess I don't mind really I do like to work on websites but my eyes are not happy with me.

I am leaning toward having Coffee & Craft get togethers and perhaps a monthly stamp club rather than doing so much online. I'm definitely more a hands on type of girl.  I will occasionally post cards here still and perhaps a video but the sales aspect will be left to the SU website.

  1. I'm so sorry to learn of your eyes bothering you, Gina. I will be praying. I'm glad that you made that eye appointment for next week! Wish I lived in your area for the Coffee and Craft get togethers. The card you made for your son-in-law is very cute!

  2. Hi Gina!

I sympathize with you about eye strain. When I worked full time as a legal secretary my eyes would be burning by the time I got home. Computers really can do a number on your eyes. My sister wears a special kind of glasses when she is on the computer, it really helps her.

Your, Pac Man card is adorable, what a fun idea for a card! I like the idea of Coffee and Craft, very cozy.

    Have a wonderful week-end!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb

    1. Barb, eye drops help a little bit. The doctor will let me know what's what! I hope everyone likes the Coffee and Craft time. ♥

  3. Hi Gina, just catching up with you - I have been a slow blogger this summer! I scrolled down to find out about your newest adventure with Stamping Up. Your Pac-Man card is so cute. I remember Pac-Man well - it seemed every restaurant had one and I needed rolls of quarters whenever I took the kiddos out for a bite. Sorry to hear about the eye-strain - hope you can get some relief from that. I get carpal tunnel pain whenever I am on the computer too long, which leads to migraines. Gosh, I am falling apart......haha! Hope you are enjoying these golden days of August so far. Hugs xo Karen

    1. Karen, wasn't there a "girl" Pac Man? I think she was pink. I wonder if the game is still available? It was fun to play. I never understood why Pong was popular. It kind of made me dizzy. I hope you are feeling "together" (not falling apart!) ♥

  4. Aren't you ever creative and clever, your card is so neat, I bet he will just LOVE it!!
So very sorry to hear about your eyes, mine tend to get the same way in the evenings but I do better the next morning again, and I seem to have times that are worse than others and I am not really sure why, hope you can get that cleared up :)

    1. Connie, thank you. I was hoping to stamp today but we've been busy in town. My appointment is Wednesday and I should know more after the tests. xo
