Dinner From the Garden

Not entirely from the garden... the chicken I bought at the market. The vegetables though came straight from the garden. And they were delicious.

The chicken legs were slathered with bbq sauce and baked at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. While the chicken was baking, I thinly sliced the zucchinis and peppers, added a little olive oil, and then seasoned with salt, pepper, and a bit of garlic powder. I roasted them at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes until they were tender. Everything was so delicious!

What did you make for dinner tonight?

  1. I made tacos and taco salad last night, because my littlest granddaughter was over, and I needed to do something quickly. Tonight I took a 10 year old granddaughter to Olive Garden, to celebrate her birthday, as a special date night...fun!

  3. Sounds delicious, Gina! Wish I was there.....Had a tomato, lettuce and cheese sandwich for dinner - the hubs is away on business, so it was just little old me. I enjoyed a break from cooking, though :) Sending hugs xo Karen

  4. We had spaghetti. I made the sauce from scratch in the crock pot. Oh it was so good if I do say so myself.

We went grocery shopping today and my hubby loves to stop by Jimmy Johns on the way home from grocery shopping and have that for supper, so we didn't eat as good as you did :)

    1. Connie, there is a Jimmy Johns in the big city. Their food is pretty healthy I think. I've had sandwiches there before and they were good!
