The Toad Whisperer

Frog said, I wrote 'Dear Toad, I am glad that you are my best friend. Your best friend, Frog.

Oh, said Toad, that makes a very good letter.

'Then Frog and Toad went out onto the front porch to wait for the mail. They sat there, feeling happy together.

My husband is the toad whisperer.  I don't know why it is but the toads actually hop out to greet him.  He could be in the driveway or the yard or the woods and sure enough, a toad will hop out right up to him. He often pets them and they look very content. I don't mind petting them but they seem to enjoy his company more than mine.
Isn't that strange? ♥

  1. Hi Gina~

That's adorable - I actually love toads! I love to sleep with my windows open, to hear all the frogs along the canal bank next to our home . . . ahhhh! I hope you don't get warts . . . :0)

    Hugs,

  2. Oh, I can relate, Gina! I have a little tree frog that lives in my flowers on the deck and every day he comes out to say hi to me! Today he almost jumped right on my head! xo Karen

    1. Karen, too funny. I love toads and frogs but I do NOT want one to jump on my head! xo

  3. As a child toads frightened me to death. I think because they hopped out at you at the most unexpected moments.

  4. Isn't that interesting that the toads do actually prefer your husband over you? He truly must be the toad whisperer. :)
