An F Word Follow-Up

It's been over a month since I've posted an F word update.  There have been little savings here and there until last week when...  I snagged some wonderful deals!

Who doesn't need hand soap?!  I buy them in bulk when they are on sale.  Last week, these Softsoap hand soaps were on sale for $1.49 each (usually sell for $2.49 each).  I had 75 cent coupons that doubled and I received all these Softsoaps for free.

Everyone say CHEESE!  This Galbani string cheese was on sale two weeks prior but they had run out.  I asked for a raincheck and saved it to be used last week.  My raincheck was for Buy 1 Get 1 Free.  I was able to get 6 packages.  I'm only showing 3 of the packages as these are the free ones.

These little Pillsbury Grand biscuits are adorable.  They are about half the size of the regular ones.  Rather than 8 biscuits in the roll, there are 4 in each.  These Grands were on sale for $1 each (usually sell for $1.69 each).  I had 50 cent coupons that doubled and I received all of these Pillsbury Grands for free.

A gallon of milk at this grocery store usually sells for $3.29.  This particular week, if you purchased $10 worth of specific brands, you received the milk for free.  Thankfully, I needed those specific items anyway so I was happy to get free milk!

This week in particular was extra special as they doubled coupons up to $2.00 each!  These frozen meatballs are quite tasty and come in handy when you've no time to cook.  I pop them in the slow cooker, add some chopped garlic, tomato sauce, herbs and seasonings, and simmer for about 4 hours. I add shredded mozzarella cheese in the last 15 minutes.  YUM!  The meatballs usually sell for $4.99 a bag.  They were on sale for $3.99 each.  I used $1.50 coupons that doubled making these meatballs free.

I did a happy dance all the way home. ♥

Have you snagged any good deals lately? Let's celebrate!

    1. Barb, I'm with you on leftover Pillsbury biscuits. Not so great. If you get the inkling, there is a house for sale near me. xo
