Tricks or Treats

Welcome to my Halloween treat post!  Are you hungry?

Before I tell you about my surprise treats, I want to share a really funny story with you.

As you know, we really decorated our front yard and porch big time this Halloween. That being said, the cutest little boy (about 5 years old) rang our doorbell. I held Lilah Rose as my husband opened the door to give out the treats. The little boy stepped right into my house, looked around, and said "What is this place?". His father was so embarrassed and told the little boy to come out. It was so adorable. The boy had such a look of wonder about him. I guess he was excited to see all the decor outside and didn't think this was a house.

This Halloween, I went with a Brush Your Fangs theme.  Bwahahaha

With the Stampin' Up! set Creep It Real, I chose the Brush Your Fangs stamp, stamped the image and then colored in the lips, gums, and tips of the fangs. I cut out the mouths and was ready to assemble the treat bags.

I used snack ziplock bags, black cardstock to top the bag, and a stapler. For the candy, I chose watermelon flavor fake fangs and paired it with chocolate.

They were a big hit! ♥

I think the treat bags turned out really cute! Don't you?

Happy Halloween!

    1. Connie, I don't know why most other people near me don't really decorate. The kids really enjoy it and some of the parents said they did too.
