A Day with Baby Sam

Today, we spend six glorious hours watching Baby Sam while my daughter and son-in-law went to a birthday lunch and movie.  Six glorious hours and I am tired!

Sam is such a happy baby and so much easier than any of my children.  He always has a smile on his face and is generous with his laughter.

I am so thankful that Lilah Rose was so good with him.  She was curious and gentle.  She needed a little pat on the head and a “good girl” while I was holding Sam just to reassure her that I was her mama and just a nana to Sam.

Naptimes were very brief ~ one 30 minutes and one 20 minutes.  We didn’t mind.  He was in such a good mood regardless.

He is such a big boy too and almost 6 months old.  I think all of us will sleep well tonight! ♥

    1. Barb, the time flies by so quickly. I can't believe that Isaac is 5 1/2 and Hannah almost 2. I hope Sam stays a baby a little longer.

    1. Me too, Arlene. Babies change so quickly ~ he isn't teething yet but he is starting to eat baby food. Too fun!

    1. Connie, I think they will be. Lilah kept checking on him while he was asleep in the playpen. He'd stir and she'd run over to look at him. I'm so glad she's a quiet puppy!

We all have our “good old days” tucked away inside our hearts, and we return to them in dreams like cats to favorite armchairs. ~ B. Carter
