A Good Report Card!

I'm a proud mama!  Lilah Rose earned an A on her report card.

Today, she was evaluated at a dog day care/boarding facility.  She did great!

I was a Nervous Nelly but there was no need to be. Though this particular place is a bit far away, we chose it because my daughter uses it on a regular basis with her airedale and absolutely loves everyone there.

We met with one of the managers, went over a few questions, and then left her with them for 3 hours.  When we returned, we were able watch her in the playroom with the other dogs.  She was having so much fun and wasn't shy at all.  She and the other dogs were wrestling and playing.  I was pleasantly surprised.

This is what her report card stated:

Lilah Rose is so adorable and I had a great time with her today! Our introduction went very well and I had no issues approaching or handling her. When we finished with our greetings I took Lilah outside for some fresh air and a potty break. Once she was done we came back inside and I let her spend some time in a bedroom so I could see how she would settle in. She did great while in her room and she laid down most of the time. Lilah seemed very comfortable and I saw no signs of stress from her while she was in her room. I then let Lilah out so we could go to our little dog playroom to meet some friends. I slowly introduced her to all of the dogs and she was an absolute natural! They all played around a lot and chased each other around outside! I am so proud of how well Lilah has done today and she is wonderful! We cannot wait to see her again soon!

I am so thankful that Lilah Rose did well and we have a place (that is safe and she enjoys!) to board her when we need to go somewhere.  Happy Dance!

    1. Barb, I just was so tickled watching her. She was the only puppy in the group and definitely the most energetic!

  3. That's wonderful that you can have this peace of mind if you ever need to board her! It is truly one of the difficult thing of having animals, what to do with them when you have to travel without them. Such peace of mind this must be to your heart! Glad she did so well :)

    1. Me too, Marilyn. My husband and I don't really travel very much but I do have more peace of mind to have found this place when we do travel or if there was an emergency. xx

  5. that was the biggest thing that put our mind at ease when we found a lovely place that took good care of our little girl, they would let our cats and dog share a room together so they were not separated, which I think put them all at ease :)

    1. Connie, that's wonderful that your babies could be together! I don't think I can ask for another pet for a while.....
