Pillow Talk & September's Winner

Before we get down to business, I wanted to share some of the autumn pillows that I found. I love this little bench that I bought at an estate sale last year. It is the perfect size for small grandchildren.

As you may remember, I have been looking for nice pillows for our new sectional sofa. I really didn't care for the gray ones. Doesn't the sunflower pillow brighten things up?  And more Pumpkin Spice!

One corner of the sofa with a cheery orange sunflower! The other corner has a yellow sunflower pillow. Quilts everywhere!

Pumpkins this way!

Lilah Rose agreed to show you the pillows on the brown comfy chair. Thank you, Lilah Rose!

I am very happy with the new autumn pillows.  I found the Pumpkin Spice pillows and the Pumpkin Farm pillows at Pier1.  The sunflower pillows I found at Walmart.

Today's drawing reveals that the winner of the Welcome September Giveaway is...

Congratulations, Connie. I will mail out your September treasures early next week. (Our Post Office is closed on Saturday.). Thank you everyone for participating.  Stay tuned for another with twigs and branches giveaway on October 1st.

    1. Kerin, our a/c is running practically 24/7 still too. I have a few fall things out. I was hoping to do more today but I decided a clean house was a better idea first!

But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject; with whom one's deepest as well as one's most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely. Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Maria Craik, A Life for a Life, "Chapter XVI: Her Story," 1859
