Welcome September Giveaway

Is it just me or did it seem like August lasted longer than 31 days?  Today, I have hope that autumn soon will make her appearance like a grand lady at the theater.  I shall welcome her with applause and a standing ovation.

Let's welcome September with a little giveaway!

Let's welcome September with a beautiful linen dish towel, a sweet notebook, and a box of 12 Yankee Candle MacIntosh Spice Tealight candles.

This floral dish towel reminds me of early September.  Nature's summer colors, still beautiful, are beginning to fade. Yankee Candle's MacIntosh Spice has a welcoming autumn harvest scent to it. All the beauty of September can not be described in words in this notebook but one can certainly try.

To enter this Welcome September Giveaway, simply:

1. Be a Gentle Follower. (the Follow widget is in the left sidebar) AND

2. Leave a comment on this post describing what you will miss most about summer.

I will announce the winner on Friday September 7th. This giveaway is open to all countries.

Blessings to your day!

  2. I do love summer, so although I am ready for fall's cooler temperatures there is always a part of me that is sad to see summer go. Once school starts though I feel you can't hold onto it any longer. I will miss the long days.

  4. Very thoughtful and generous of you to do such a sweet giveaway.
I shall miss sleeping with the windows open and the mountain breezes luling me to sleep.

I'm in agreement with you about August feeling as though it lasted longer than usual.
So ready for Fall, and crisp mornings, crunchy leaves, warm apple cider, and of course all the wonderful holidays to come :)

    Have a lovely eve.

But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject; with whom one's deepest as well as one's most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely. Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Maria Craik, A Life for a Life, "Chapter XVI: Her Story," 1859
