Beware - Too Peopley!

I found the perfect tee shirt for myself! This is so me!  Am I right?

Too peopley is particularly true if you have to go into town or a big city. Lots of people shopping for the holidays.

It is Friday already!! Where did the week go?  I have a lot to do before heading north for Thanksgiving.

How are your Thanksgiving plans going?

    1. I am thankful for online shopping, Carol. Much nicer to sit by the fire with a cup of coffee to shop!

  2. Oops, too quick on the Send trigger! No Thanksgiving plans here yet, just my husband and me, no family here. Looking forward to a quiet holiday. God bless you.

  3. Hi Gina!!

Oh my goodness...I need one of those shirts!! We have so many people moving into our small community, it's getting very "peopley"! You are adorable, love you!

We are spending Thanksgiving day at my daughters home. She only lives about 10 miles from us, so it's an easy commute. My other daughter and her family are going to join us. They live about 40 miles away, so easy trip for them as well. I am bringing a smoked turkey breast, rolls, a chocolate pie and a pumpkin-lemon cream cheese pie...so delish! My daughter is very laid back, so no fancy dishes at her house, it will be a very relaxing day, and 7 of my grandchildren will be there!!

I hope your Thanksgiving is as special as you are, sweet friend!

    Hugs and Much Love,
    Barb

    1. I love you, Barb! Let's be too peopley together! Your Thanksgiving menu sounds so delicious! And it's nice you don't have to travel very far. Who needs dessert when you will have 7 grandchildren there!!

  4. I've always loved spending time in my home but lately I want to get out in nature every chance I get! I saw 2 deer when I walked on the Florida trails today. I saw a total of 4 people (on bicycles) so it wasn't too crowded! heehee! Wish you were closer to walk with me! Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Diane, I would love to walk with you! One of the many wonderful thing about living in the woods is you can see deer in your very own yard! We saw a doe and fawn earlier today just munching grass!

But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject; with whom one's deepest as well as one's most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely. Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Maria Craik, A Life for a Life, "Chapter XVI: Her Story," 1859
