Going Aweigh

Tomorrow is traveling day.  Today is going aweigh day.  I initially wasn't going to weigh myself during February but I though - what the heck - why not! I was a bit hopeful because I drank a lot of bone broth and had eaten less that I usually would.

And it has paid off!  According to my scale, I lost over a pound which makes the grand total of weight that I have lost since January 1st ~ 5.6 pounds.

Hooray!

That little extra weight loss gives me some snacking leeway when I am up North!  I have plans!!

Pizza from a wonderful pizzeria!

Italian food from a nice Italian restaurant.

Fresh baked Apple Pie

Double Chocolate Chip Muffins

Hot Dogs w/Buns and Chips

Baked Ziti (my daughter has a delicious recipe)

Garlic Bread

And that is what I KNOW I am going to eat!  I suspect there will be a special Valentine dessert. ♥

    1. Elizabeth, thank you for praying. The weather was really cold the first few days and then it warned up. xo

But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject; with whom one's deepest as well as one's most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely. Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Maria Craik, A Life for a Life, "Chapter XVI: Her Story," 1859
