I Sees More Pink & Red

My grammar is not usually this atrocious but I made an exception with this post title.

Sees as in See's Candy!

I ordered a dozen of these tin heart lollipops from Sees.  The tins open up and the chocolate & butterscotch lollipops are inside.

I am planning on taking them up North to my grands for Valentine's Day. But for now... they are brightening my little flower bud vases!

The camera didn't capture their true colors.  I alternated the colors: a bright pink and then red.  One side says See's Candies and the other side says Be My Valentine.

I also wanted to share a better picture of the heart quilt on my oak bench.  Please ignore the dirty windows.  They do need to be cleaned but I can't reach them from the outside.  The power washer will do the trick!

That is my more more pink & red!

Have you done any decorating for Valentine's Day?

    1. Sue, check eBay for crib quilts. They are the perfect size for a small bench or wall hanging!

But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject; with whom one's deepest as well as one's most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely. Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Maria Craik, A Life for a Life, "Chapter XVI: Her Story," 1859
